Unparalleled hiking region
It's marvellous to explore the surroundings during a holiday. The magnificent natural environment has a special appeal. The space, peace and quiet and the scent of pine forests are all responsible for the fact that many people experience this region as one that is particularly lovely and restful.
They are there countless hiking trails for experienced hikers, but for beginners as well. You won't need your car because you can virtually walk directly into the woods from the campsites. You hike through the woods on deserted paths and country lanes with splendid vistas.
The only sounds come from the birds and babbling brooks. You won't be the first person to encounter a herd of deer, a small fox or a family of wild boar during a hike. That’s why the Ardennes and Gaume regions are favourites of many hiking enthusiasts.
Mountain bike trails
In addition to hiking, the region is also ideal for mountain biking. Many trails have been laid that go right across the woods. Well and truly recommended!
Do you have a family with children? And do you attach a lot of value to activity and the option of a variety of outdoor sports? Then you can really indulge yourself at our campsites. If your children are having fun, then things are also going fine for you, right? That’s our experience at least.
That’s why during most school holidays, we offer a wide-ranging and innovative activity programme for children of all ages at all our campsites. For over ten years, this has even been a core activity of Ardenne & Gaume Camping Holidays and for many people it’s a reason for being (return) visitors at our campsites. There is always something to do!
